Happy Hour: Ocean Breeze

Ocean Breeze

Perfect Cocktails was a total impulse buy. I was standing in the checkout line at TJ Maxx when I noticed this book’s bright cover. I opened it to find recipes for everything from traditional Manhattans and Bloody Marys to fruity martinis and tropical drinks. It also has glossy pages, pictures of every recipe and only cost $3.99! So you see, I had to buy it.

My new purchase reminded me that I wanted to start doing Happy Hour posts with different recipes that I’ve tried. Ideally, these posts will appear at 5:00 on semi-random Fridays.

When it comes to cocktails, my true love is a margarita on the rocks made with freshly-squeezed lime juice. When I want something sweeter, I adore fruity, girly drinks, preferably in some crazy color like hot pink, lime green or aqua. So I’m kicking off my Happy Hour series with a fun blue drink from Perfect Cocktails.
